(My Family)
I just got through reading a post on our Etsy Austin Blog by Camille Jackson, "You Like Me, You Really Like Me!", then I had an "event", got a little bit side-tracked for awhile, and then I read this post by Margaret Finnegan on her blog, Finnegan Begin Again, the link to the article can be found in my previous blogpost!
Quote From "Finnegan Begin Again" (Words of wisdom from the English writer Jane Austen)
Here she is talking about siblings, brothers and sisters who spend so much time together that they show "too much love"...
(quote)and "can't help but show affection by name calling, minor shoving, and purposeful irritation."
I am feeling soo loved lately! Even though I haven't spent a whole lot of time with some people, I am definitely feeling loved! And before you all take this for what I don't really mean, I do understand what a sibling goes through and what she was actually talking about! I am a sibling of 5--the oldest of 3 sisters and 2 brothers! Believe me I get it! All we did was fight and call each other names, trick each other, want to get away from each other, but let anyone say or do anything against just one of us....look out!!! To this day we are a very close family! We all get along wonderfully and stay in touch all the time, do favors for each other, travel together, visit all the time, help each other out, have 'myspace' to share pictures and such and now 'facebook' ... not sure if they are all on that are not yet, but 'myspace', yes. We lost our parents 7 years ago just 9 days apart (just out of the blue) and then they nearly lost me to spinal meningitis 2 weeks later (exhaustion from being the oldest and getting everything done - lowered my immune system and all) so we have really become closer than before! Is that possible!
So, if all of this means you love me, then hallelujah, praise the Lord, come on and let's get it on!!!
God Bless each and everyone of My Friends! and Loved Ones!
(and don't forget to check out the blog link I am talking about and read what she had to say about siblings, love, Jane Austen, and her children and then check out the rest of her blog, it's great!)
(quote) "And as their general incivility proves, they are just so full of LOVE for each other. They are just so full of LOVE for everyone."
